REPORT ON SENIOR THREE (S3) AND SENIOR FIVE (S5) PARENTS’ MEETING
TERM III – 29th OCTOBER 2025

The meeting for Senior Three (S3) and Senior Five (S5) parents was held on 29th October 2025 at Koro Secondary School. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss students’ academic performance, discipline, and general conduct during the term.

Mr. Nyuma Lawrence Wiri, the Deputy Head Teacher, reported that many students normally report late to school. He also raised concern over poor payment of school dues and increasing indiscipline cases among Senior Three students. He called upon parents to take a more active role in guiding and monitoring their children’s behavior.

The Director of Studies, Mr. Onekalit Kenneth, informed parents that the school is offering academic bursaries to students who attain an average score of 70% and above in examinations. He, however, noted that the general academic performance remains at a minimal level and encouraged both students and parents to work harder towards improvement. He further mentioned that extra lessons are being conducted every Saturday for Senior Three, Senior Four, Senior Five, and Senior Six classes to help improve performance. He also commended the science teachers for actively conducting practical lessons to enhance students’ understanding.

During the meeting, class teachers presented detailed reports on the academic progress and discipline of students. Parents were given the opportunity to discuss their children’s performance and were urged to encourage their children to remain focused, disciplined, and hardworking.

The meeting was concluded with appreciation to all parents for attending and supporting the school in its efforts to promote academic excellence and moral development.
